Job title: Sunday Server
Hours: You will work every Sunday when there is a market. You will also work some Saturdays according to the needs of the business.
Sunday Markets: There are usually markets on the first and third Sundays of the month, but not always. In July, August and January there may be one, but in September, October and in December there might be 3. It still equates to about 24 Sunday markets a year. You will be informed far in advance of when the Sunday markets are.

Role: Your role is to take care of all customers and their orders, whether they are sit-down, take-away or traders. You will work as part of a team of 4.
You will be taking orders and payment, preparing, making and serving food and drinks orders, tidying up, washing up and cleaning.

You take pride in being a great team worker and will take your turn at all tasks
You instinctively know what needs doing to ensure the team’s success
You take pride in a clean and tidy workspace and complete cleaning tasks carefully and efficiently
You are confident in using a touchscreen till and handling cash and card payments
You already know how to use a commercial coffee machine, or you are excited to learn how to make drinks using one
*The Rota: The Sunday shifts are: 0730-1230, 0800-end, 0900-end, 0930-end. You will take it in turns to work these shifts, so you will work 1 0730 shift every couple of months (end is usually by 3pm)
When you work a 0730 shift you will be a key holder and you will open up
On each shift the roles are broadly as follows:
1 person taking orders and managing the tables
1 person making food
1 person making drinks
1 person helping make drinks and manage orders and tables
You will be expected to take turns in each role
This is a permanent position
Experience is an advantage, but full training in The Coffee Stall’s systems and processes will be given
The starting hourly rate for 16-20 age group is £7.40 per hour worked
